What's the address? And where can we park?
The Hotel is on Tunnelweg 99, 6372 XH Landgraaf, the Netherlands. There's free parking at the hotel.
We're bringing kids - how child-friendly is the hotel?
Our wedding is a child-friendly wedding, meaning that aside from the actual ceremony, we won't be bothered by noise, especially if it's of the laughing/singing/playing variety. We'll arrange some simple distractions for them during the meal (coloured pencils, stickers, some toys...) During the ceremony we do ask for quiet, and there will be a room off the reception area dedicated to keeping the kids busy during this time for those who'd rather play than sleep/sit. Please note that the hotel is off a main road and has a few flights of stairs so parents will need to keep an eye on their little ones throughout the weekend, as you would at home.
What should we bring?
-
The Netherlands has an abundance of mosquitoes: bug spray and bite relief are recommended additions to your suitcase.
-
Electrical sockets in the Netherlands use two-pin plugs. Remember to bring an adapter should you need one.
-
It's perhaps too optimistic to recommend sunscreen, but you never know.
-
The courtyard is cobbled and the car park is gravel: bear this in mind when bringing your favorite €400 stiletto heels.
-
For those bringing kids and travelling by car, please let us know if you're able to bring your own high chairs / baby beds. The hotel has a small supply of each, which ideally would remain available for those families travelling by plane.
-
Likewise, if you're bringing kids and travelling by plane, please let us know so we can make arrangements.
-
There are quite a number of musical guests amongst our party. In case of impromptu jam sessions, please feel free to bring your instruments :)
Is there free Wifi at the hotel?
Yes! Free WiFi at the hotel.
What if we want to plan a surprise...?
The Dutch traditions at weddings include sketches or surprises. The programme is remarkably full, but if you would like to do something please arrange this with our Master of Ceremonies / Ceremoniemeester. This is also your contact in case you want to ask anything without our knowing. Willemijn's contact details are as follows:
